Privacy Policy

Short version: this is a marketing website. We don't run accounts or ask for your personal details. The only data collection is optional traffic analytics that runs only if you click “Accept”. No ads, no advertising profiles, no selling your data — ever.
Who we are
This site, ferrumsec.com, belongs to FerrumSec, the dedicated security division of Funway Interactive SRL (Chișinău, Moldova), which is the data controller. You can reach us through funwayinteractive.com/contact.
What we collect
By simply visiting the site, you give us nothing that identifies you, and we ask for nothing. There are no sign-ups, logins, contact forms, or comment fields on this site — engagement enquiries are handled on our parent company's contact page, linked above.
The only optional data collection is website analytics, described next, which is off by default.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand basic traffic — which pages are viewed, approximate region, device/browser type, and which site referred you. It loads only after you consent via the cookie banner.
- If you accept: Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (named
_gaand_ga_<id>) so it can tell repeat visits apart. GA4 does not record full IP addresses. We use the resulting aggregate reports only to understand how the site is used. - If you decline (or ignore the banner): no analytics scripts load, no analytics cookies are set, and nothing is sent to Google.
- Remembering your choice: we store a single functional entry in your browser's local storage (
fs-analytics-consent) so we don't ask again. It is not a cookie, holds only “granted” or “denied”, and is never transmitted anywhere.
We do not run advertising, build advertising/marketing profiles, use tracking pixels, or sell or rent your data to anyone.
Your choices
You're in control. You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies that were set. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Who processes the data
Analytics data is processed on our behalf by Google (Google Analytics), acting as our processor and handling it under Google's own privacy policy. We don't share your data with any other third parties.
How long it's kept
Analytics retention is configured in Google Analytics; GA4's default retention for user- and event-level data is up to 14 months, while aggregate reporting may be kept longer. Your consent choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear your browser storage.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, in the EU/EEA or the UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because consented analytics is the only processing here, withdrawing consent (above) stops it. For any request, contact us via funwayinteractive.com/contact.
